Bárbara has started her PhD at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. She has a background in Molecular Biology and Genetics and has been working on neurodegenerative diseases for four years. The main goal of her research is to develop novel assays for candidate biomarkers for Lewy body’s dementia using state-of-the-art protein technologies, such as targeted mass spectrometry assays.
