Sherif has joined the Neurochemistry Laboratory in the VUmc at Amsterdam in September 2020. His background is in Molecular Biotechnology and Diagnostics. Moreover, he has been working on the development of immunoassays for more than three years. His PhD project is focused on the development and the validation of novel immunoassays for blood biomarker of dementia using state-of-the-art protein technologies, such as Single molecule array (Simoa).
