Anna's PhD project foresees development of an immunoassay for detection of candidate Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) biomarker(s) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and blood. The techniques applied for the assay development include Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) for detection in CSF and Single molecule array technology (Simoa®) for detection in blood. The final stage of the project implies clinical validation of the developed assay in relevant patient samples from large independent cohorts.
